HIRSH SAWHNEY on PBS’s Great American Read!
We were thrilled to see Hirsh Sawhney, author of South Haven, featured on PBS’s Great American Read! A new installment on “Authors and Their Hometowns” included two short segments with Sawhney, which aired on September 13, 2018 on WLIW/Channel 13 (New York City PBS).
South Haven is set in the fictional New England suburb of the title, and Sawhney, who discussed the importance of place in writing, lives in Connecticut and teaches at Wesleyan University. He is also the editor of Delhi Noir and a contributor to New Haven Noir.
